Top AirVuz contributor oberschneider brings us this fantastic drone video from the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier in the Austrian Alps. The glacier and its namesake mountain are part of the High Tauern range. Its popular ski area is part of the municipality of Kaprun in the Zell am See District of the State of Salzburg. The only glacier ski area in Austria, the mountain reaches a peak of 10.5k ft. above sea level or around 3.2k m. The funicular railway which was built to transport skiers to the slopes was the site of a deadly disaster in 2000.
