MV Agusta is one of the most storied names in motorcycles.  Based in Milan, the company collaborated with two-time Drone Video Award winner Timelab.pro to produce this magnificent piece from the mountains of northern Italy.  You'll aerially follow an Agusta bike through some of the world's most beautiful scenery, and then do things no bike will ever do, like soar through the peaks of the Dolomites, or skim over shimmering alpine lakes.  Filmed in the Fall, the video is expertly color-graded in the vaunted Timelab style.  

Croig is a leading manufacturer of apparel and accessories for motorcycle riders of all sizes and stripes.  Their products appeal to those who love the feel of two wheels on an open road.  AirVuz collaborated with Croig to produce this aerial video of a group of motorcycle riders cruising the coast in Southern California.  The video shows how high quality drone footage can be used to create entertaining content to promote brands, and on budgets which represent a fraction of the cost for a typical TV commercial.   

Check out this fantastic drone video of an off-road motorcycle race in North Africa, compliments of AirVuz contributor Master Media Lab.  The Casteu Trophy is an enduro race held in Merzouga, Morocco, which is deep in the Sahara Desert and close to Morocco's western border with Algeria.  The Casteu Trophy race was inspired by the famous Dakar Rally, which is now held in Saudi Arabia but which originated in Northern Africa.  This video was picked as the Drone Video of the Week in late March of 2024.  

Multiple Drone Video of the Week Winner and 2022 Drone Video of the Year Finalist KASH brings us this outstanding aerial view of a motorcycle race in Hong Kong.  The event is a Kayo Mini GP race, a mini-bike class which features 150 cubic centimeters of displacement, 12 inch wheels, and weigh less than 200 pounds (about 85 kg).  The video was filmed using both a DJI Inspire 2 gimbal-stabilized drone for "establishing" shots as well as a first person view (FPV) drone for the epic chase sequences.  

Legendary content creator Jay Christensen brings us this fantastic first person view (FPV) drone video which was produced as part of a promotional campaign for the legendary British motorcycle brand Triumph Motorcycles Ltd.  The piece features some phenomenal FPV footage that demonstrates both the capability of these iconic bikes to operate in a wide variety of environments as well as the unique ability of FPV drones to capture the dynamic action.  This video was picked for the FPV Pilots to Watch list in March of 2022.  

Top AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) pilot Ivan Merino brings us this fantastic FPV video of one of the world's top motorcycle drivers: Marc Márquez.   The Spanish-born driver has won eight Grand Prix motorcycle racing (MotoGP) championships through 2021, one of the best records in the entire sport.  Racing for Honda's factory team, Márquez is nicknamed the Thunder of Cervera in reference to his home town.  This video was picked for the FPV Pilots to Watch list in October of 2021.  

While its tourism industry has grown in recent years, Sri Lanka is still far enough off the beaten path that it appeals to more adventurous travelers.  Case in point is this group of travelers who drove their Royal Enfield motorcycles across this island nation in the Indian Ocean.  Using a DJI Phantom 4 Pro drone, contributor Ablbaset memorialized the trip with this amazing aerial video.  While a road trip like this is not for the faint of heart, you can ride along from the comfort (and safety!) of your own screen.  

So much of the appeal of motorcycles is the idea of the open road - cruising down an endless highway with nothing but the sound of the wind in your ears.  The joy of riding a motorcycle in these conditions is more than enough to create millions of bikers around the world who are willing to accept the risks involved.  In this video, contributor Sky Candy Studios uses a drone to show us the magic of the open road from an aerial perspective.  Sky Candy is one of the Midwest's top commercial drone piloting companies. 

Harley Davidson is one of the oldest and by far the best known brand in motorcycles.  Headquartered in the Midwesttern city of Milwaukee, the company is more or less synonymous with motorcycles, and Harley owners are generally regarded as being some of the most devoted brand enthusiasts in the world.  In this video, top AirVuz contributor and pilot TJ Millard used a DJI Inspire 2 drone to film a group of Harley riders riding for a veterans' event at golden hour somewhere in the American West. 

The only thing more insane than driving a motorcycle over 200 kph (145 mph) is doing it on ice, and then popping a wheelie in the middle of the run.  In this video, you will see Bubba Myers do just that with his Kawasaki Ninja H2.  He unofficially broke the world record for the fastest motorcycle wheelie on ice, although this has not yet been certified by the Guinness Book of World Records.  All captured for posterity via drone by AirVuz contributor and pilot Christian Michel in this amazing aerial video. 

The Indian state of Himachal Pradesh in the northern part of the country was the scene of an epic 18 day motorcycle trip by a group of Brazilian bikers.  Contributor Drone Fella was able to film portions of the trip with a drone.  The result is this epic video which features extensive bird's eye views of the Royal Enfield motorcycles tearing through the countryside of the Himalayan foothills.  Himachal Pradesh is in the north-central part of the country, south of the state of Jammu & Kashmir.  

This piece definitely features some dynamic flying in multiple uses of the term. Accomplished pilots SFPV and InspireFPV took their customized mini quads out to Thunderhill Raceway Track to race a pair go BMW S1000RR’s down the track. SFPV will feature close up shots of the luxury motorcycles and the surrounding “pits” before taking us to the famous track (which happens to hold the longest automobile race in the U.S.A. every December). This video was named an FPV Pilots to Watch piece in December of 2019. 

Contributor Mitchell Millennial and two of his buddies took an epic three day motorcycle through northern Vietnam.  They left from Hanoi, the capital of what had been North Vietnam and now the national capital city.  Their destination was a small village called Mai Chau, which is located in the northwestern (and quite mountainous) Hòa Bình Province.  Using a drone combined with a bit of ground camera footage, he created this memorable video of the sights and sounds of northern Vietnam from above.  

Top AirVuz contributor FLY DOG used a DJI Mavic and a first person view (FPV) drone to create this stunning video of two Dakar Rally star motorcyclists taking on the sand dunes of the Sahara Desert in Morocco.  The riders are Stéphane Peterhansel, who has won the Dakar Rally 14 times (a record as of 2024), and rising Dhakar Rally star Pol Tarrésvideo.  The video was filmed near the village of Merzouga, which lies close to the country's eastern border with Algeria, on the western edge of the great desert.      

Sitting on the banks of the Mississippi River, the city of St. Paul, Minnesota is magnificent at night during the winter months. The lights of the city reflect on the snow and river, creating the perfect backdrop for this piece by dynamic aerial cinematographers, top AirVuz contributor Fit Lam Studios. Featuring a lone motorcyclists, the biker is illuminated by a Matrice 600 carrying a 52,000 lumen light, while the video was captured via a DJI Inspire 2 drone and a RED Digital Cinema.

Brand-new AirVuz contributor expeditionsouth hit a "bullseye" with this spectacular drone video from Bolivia. He spent two months criss-crossing this landlocked South American country with a Kawasaki KLR 650 motorcycle and a DJI Mavic Pro drone. The DVOW winning video features footage from both the portion of the country covered by the Andes Mountains system as well as the northern portion, which is part of the Amazon River Basin. Check out the amazing aerials of the Uyuni Salt Flats, the "train cemetery", the Altiplano, and much more.  

How's this for an epic motorcycle trip - Mongolia!  The republic in northeast Asia is not exactly known for its roads, but it didn't stop the bikers in this video.  They were able to use their bikes to get across some incredibly varied terrain, ranging from deserts to vast plateaus to forests to spectacular rivers and snowfields.  Throw in riding with herds of the country's famed wild horses, and you've got a pretty memorable trip.  It also begs the question, what happens if your bike breaks down?   

Ride along with contributor Alex Chacon on an epic motorcycle trip through the region of Ladakh in northern India.  Part of the larger region of Kashmir, Ladakh has emerged as one of the world's top motorcycle trekking destinations.  The video features footage from the Nubra Valley, Leh Ladakh, Sarchu, Rotang Pass, Chandigarh, Spiti Valley, Shimla, Manali, Keylong, Mandi, Khardung la, Hunder, Thicksey Monastery, Kargil, Srinagar, Jammu, Amritsar, Pang, More Plains, Jispa, Tso Kar, Sonamarg, Udhampur, Pangong Tso, Pangong Lake and more.  

Top AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) pilot nezartash brings us this excellent video created while chasing a very talented motorcycle stunt rider.  The video was filmed with both a (gimbal-stabilized) DJI Air 2S drone as well as a GoPro Hero 9 action camera attached to a seven inch FPV quad.  The two perspectives make for a highly cinematic viewing experience, with the DJI drone providing "setup" shots of the area filmed.  This video was picked for the AirVuz FPV Pilots to Watch list in mid-November of 2021.  

AirVuz contributor and drone pilot Dice Travels has an unusual way of traveling.  He goes somewhere like Africa with his motorcycle and uses the roll of dice to decide where to go from there.  And since nobody would likely believe him, he brings a drone along to capture the whole thing.  It's that simple.  Just watch this video, which was a compilation from his trip to Kenya.  Les you think this is some ordinary bike trip, try fast forwarding to 2:30 to see the giraffes!
