Drone Videos of Moldova

If you want to get a feel for the people and landscape of the little-understood East European country of Moldova, look no further than this amazing production by contributor and drone pilot Skydrive.   Using mostly drone footage with some ground camera footage thrown into the mix, he gives us an epic four minute look at this ancient and mysterious land.  Although Moldova has only been an independent country since the early 1990's, it was once part of the mighty principality of Moldavia, much of which is now part of Romania.

Here's a beautiful aerial video of the Eastern European country of Moldova in the dead of winter, compliments of contributor and drone pilot skyCinemaMD.  While the country sits at about the same latitude as Central France, it is far enough from the Atlantic Ocean that it experiences significantly colder winters.  The video will take you across the countryside of this relatively unknown land, which emerged as an independent country following the dissolution of the USSR in the early 1990's.  

Prepare to be amazed by this stunning drone video of Moldova by contributor and pilot Skydrive.  Moldova is an independent country in the region of Moldavia, which was once its own principality but over time came to be split between Moldova, Romania, and the Ukraine.  The video covers some of this Eastern European country's spectacular scenery in the fall and then transitions to an equally stunning winter landscape, with epic views of rolling hills, the Moldavian Plateau, and the Dneister River. 

Content creator and drone pilot SKYDRIVE created this amazing music video from Moldova, an Eastern European country which was once part of the principality of Moldavia.  The video features one of the country's top DJ's playing piano on the Moldavian Plateau, which lies to the east of the Carpathian Mountains.  Moldova was part of territory seized by the Soviet Union from Romania prior to World War II which then devolved into its own country when the Soviet Union subsequently split apart.

Although the Eastern European nation of Moldova is close to both the Carpathian Mountains and the Black Sea, it has a distinctive landscape devoid of mountains or coastline.  The dominating features of this former Republic of the USSR are two rivers (the Dniester and the Prut, the latter a Danube tributary) between which most of the country lies, and the Moldavian Plateau which covers much of it.  In this video, Skycinema gives us an epic aerial view of this landscape in the northern part of the country.

Here's a great aerial Fall colors view of a commune in the Eastern European country of Moldova, compliments of AirVuz contributor igorartmd.  Lalova is situated in the Rezina District, which lies in the eastern part of the country.  The video features footage of the town itself as well as its surroundings on the banks of the Dneister River.  An important waterway which flows south into the Black Sea, the Dneister forms the natural eastern boundary of the historical region of Moldova.

Contributor igorartmd created this beautiful drone video of Tabara Village in Moldova, a country of Eastern Europe.  The village is part of the Orhei District in the east-central part of the country.  The area is roughly halfway between the Prut and Dneister Rivers, which define the historical (and in most cases the current legal) boundaries of the republic.  The video's aerial footage was captured with a DJI Mavic Pro drone, and was shot during the winter months.  

Check out the beautiful countryside of Moldova in Eastern Europe, compliments of contributor and drone pilot Bomond Productions.  The footage was shot in the northern part of the country, which emerged from independence following the dissolution of the former Soviet Union in the early 1990's.  The country's northern landscape here is dominated by the Moldavian Plateau, an elevated flat area which covers most of northern Moldova as well as parts of southwestern Ukraine and northeastern Romania.  

Contributor and pilot Lens Flare used a DJI Mavic Pro drone to create this video of a town on the bend of the Dneister River, an important waterway in Eastern Europe.  The town is Roghi, in the eastern part of the nation of Moldova.  The river originates in Ukraine, and runs a nearly 1.4k km (846 mi.) generally southward course and discharging into the Black Sea.  In between, it runs through eastern Moldova, in certain areas serving as the border between the two countries, before crossing back into Ukraine.  

Content creator and drone pilot skyCinemaMD used a DJI Phantom drone and a ground camera in combination to create this very well-edited video of the city of Chisinau and its surroundings in the Eastern European country Moldova.  Chisinau is the capital and largest city in this country, which was formed from territory which was at various times part of the principality of Moldavia, Romania, and the Soviet Union.  Chisinau sits more or less in the center of Moldova, on the banks of the Bîc River.  

For a first upload to AirVuz, contributor phenomen brings us this excellent video of a city in the little-known Eastern European republic of Moldova.  The city is called Edinet, and it's located near the northwestern corner of the country, not far from the Ukrainian border to the north or the Romanian border to the west.  The video incorporates both aerial and ground camera footage to showcase the city, which dates to the 15th century and is one of the larger urban concentrations in northern Moldova.  

Check out this drone video of a well-known monastery in the small Eastern European country of Moldova, compliments of igorartmd.  The Old Orhei Monastery is located in the town of Trebujeni on the Răut River (a right tributary of the Dniester), about an hour's drive northeast of the national capital in Chișinău.  Part of an archaeological and historical complex which also includes the remains of a fortress dating to the Antiquity and a Golden Horde fortress from the 14th century, the Orthodox monastery also dates to the 14th century.

Contributor Bomond Productions created this drone video of a beautiful park near Chisinau, the capital city of Moldova.  Valea Morilor Park is situated on the shores of a lake of the same name, in the Buiucani sector which occupies the northwestern corner of the city.  The park was set up at the initiative of Leonid Brezhnev in 1950, over a decade before he assumed the leadership of the USSR.  The beautiful park offers all manner of outdoor aquatic activities including (as you'll see in the video) rowing.  

Contributor igorartmd created this beautiful aerial video of an important historical sight in the East European republic of Moldova.  It's the Kurki Monastery, which is part of the Orhei District near the middle of the country.  The monastery is located about an hour drive north of Chisenau, the Moldovan capital, and is a popular excursion from that city.  The monastery, which lies on the bank of the Vatic River, was founded in the late 18th century.   Its main church was built about a century later.  

Contributor and pilot igorartmd created this beautiful drone video of a village in the Eastern European country of Moldova.  Lalova Village lies in the Rezina District, which occupies an east-central portion of the country.  The villages lies on the Dneister River,  an important waterway of the region.  The video features some marvelous footage of the glass-smooth waters of the river, which follows a meandering, generally southward course before emptying into the Black Sea in the Ukraine.
