Bird's Eye Views of Cincinnati

Top AirVuz contributor haussmannvisuals brings us this excellent aerial video of the city of Cincinnati, Ohio.  The video opens with a shot of the downtown area from the John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge, which spans the Ohio River and was the longest suspension bridge in the world when it opened in 1866.  At the :12 mark, there's a nice shot of the Carew Tower, the city's second tallest skyscraper as of 2024 and an art deco classic, followed by a view of the Great American Tower, the city's tallest.  

Top contributor perfectperspectives brings us this excellent drone video tour of Cincinnati, Ohio.  The video opens with some great shots of the city's downtown and Ohio River waterfront.  At the :59 mark, you'll see the iconic Union Terminal.  Starting at the 1:40 mark, you'll see some of Cincy's great cultural venues including Krohn Observatory, the Music Hall, Art Museum, and ICON Music Center. At the 2:26 mark, you'll see the University of Cincinnati campus, followed by TQL Stadium, Great American Ballpark, and Paul Brown Stadium.

The waterfront of Cincinnati, Ohio is dominated by its two world-class stadiums.  Paul Brown Stadium is the home of the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League.  Sometimes referred to as the "Jungle", it seats a bit over 65k fans and was opened in 2000.  Next to it is the Great American Ballpark, the home of the legendary Cincinnati Reds baseball team since 2003.  GA seats just over 42k fans for baseball games.  Check out both venues from above in this drone video by hdprosdroneworks.    

Union Terminal is one of the great architectural landmarks of Cincinnati, Ohio.  Seen here in this drone video by AirVuz contributor onewheeldrone, the Aert Deco style station opened in the early 1930's and replaced five different train stations.  Vacant during most of the 1970's, it became a shopping mall in the 1980's.  Amtrak train service resumed here in 1991, and the station underwent a nearly $230 million renovation which was completed in 2018.  It's listed as a National Historical Landmark.  

Cincinnati, Ohio is one of the USA's great baseball cities.  The Cincinnati Reds are one of the oldest and most storied teams in Major League Baseball, with five World Series titles to the team's credit as of 2019.  In this drone video by arizbaseball, you'll get a bird's eye view of the team's home field: Great American Ballpark.  Opened in 2003, the 42.3k seat park replaced the multi-purpose Riverfront Stadium.  It's part of a sports complex which is situated on the Ohio River waterfront, just south of downtown.   

Take an aerial tour of Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio in this excellent drone video. The school was founded in 1831 and is one of the USA's oldest Jesuit universities.  Originally situated in downtown Cincinnati, in the early 20th century it moved to its current campus in the northeastern district of Norwood.  Xavier's enrollment of about 7k students is roughly 70% undergraduate.  Ranked 8th among Midwestern colleges in the 2019 US News & World Report survey, its Musketeers play in the NCAA Big East Athletic Conference.
