The eastern part of Indonesia is far less known compared to its western islands like Java and Sumatra or its southern islands like Bali and Lombok. As defined for collection purposes, the eastern islands begin with Borneo and run eastwards, covering the crazily shaped island of Sulawesi, the islands of the Banda Sea, and Papua, the western part of the island of New Guinea. Here is a collection of the best drone videos from some of the most remote reaches of the gigantic Indonesian archipelago. Aerial photo: "Amurang City, North Sulawesi" by AirVuz contributor and drone pilot Lingga Wijayadi.
