Top contributor and pilot Raf Neo used a DJI Mavic Pro drone to create this stunning tour of the highlights of the Hungarian capital city of Budapest.  The video opens and closes with spectacular shots of the St. Stephens Basilica, Hungary's greatest cultural treasure, which lies on the Pest (eastern) side of the Danube.  It is named after the first Hungarian king who ruled during the 10th and 11th centuries and is credited with converting his people to Christianity.  The great landmark was completed in 1905 on the site of an old theater.

Lake Tisza is a major artificial reservoir in Hungary.  It's located on the Tisza River in Heves County in the northern part of this Central European country.  The lake was created in connection with the construction of the Tisza Dam in the 1970's, although the lake itself wasn't fully filled until the 1990's.  The lake covers 127 square km (just under 50 square mi.) and has a length of 27 km (around 16 mi.).  You can check out the impressive-looking lake from above in this drone video by AirVuz contributor rcwolf-media.

The Tihaney Abbey is one of the more iconic sights of Hungary.  It lies on the shores of Lake Balaton, on a peninsula which effectively divides Central Europe's largest lake.  Seen in this drone video by tom g bp, it's a Benedictine monastery which was established in the 11th century AD, early in the nearly 1,000 year run of the Kingdom of Hungary.  Dedicated to the Holy Virgin and to Saint Bishop Aignan of Orleans, it's the final resting place of Andrew II; buried here in 1060, his is the only surviving grave of the early Hungarian kings.

Esztergom is a small but historically and culturally important city in northern Hungary, northwest of Budapest.  Despite its modest size, the city played a prominent role in Hungarian history, at one point serving as the proto-nation's capital.  The cathedral at the center of the city is the seat of the Roman Catholic Church in Hungary.  Contributor Miklos uses a drone to treat us to this beautiful aerial view of the Szeged cathedral and the rest of this ancient city, one of the country's top tourist destinations.
