Top contributor iDrone Aerials combined drone and ground camera footage to create this rather stunning DVOW nominated video from the Southeast Asian city-state of Singapore.  Most of the video is shot around the Marina Bay Sands Resort on Marina Bay, which is not even ten years old as of 2019 but which has become Singapore's most iconic site.  Owned by the US gaming company Las Vegas Sands, the resort cost a reported S$8 billion to build, or about US$6 billion at today's exchange rates.  

Top content creator and pilot Fabio Knoll's masterpiece "Singapore" was nominated for the 2017 AirVuz Drone Video of the Year Awards in the Cities category.  This impressive video includes beautiful aerial views of the visually spectacular Gardens by the Bay, as well as the equally impressive Marina Bay Sands, both used as filming locations for the 2018 popular movie "Crazy Rich Asians."  The glow of these landmarks, mixed in among the imposing skyline is showcased here in this striking night footage.

Check out this fantastic drone tour of the Southeast Asian city-state of Singapore, compliments of top AirVuz contributor and pilot Nomadik Footprints.  The video opens with a great shot of the city's skyline before cutting to a shot of the historic St. Andrews Cathedral.  Then it's on to the Marina Bay Sands, the gigantic casino-resort which is now Singapore's best-known landmark.  Other featured spots include the ultra-modern looking domed Cloud Forest, the Singapore Flyer Ferris wheel, the Swissôtel Stamford Hotel, and more.

The city-state of Singapore lies almost on the equator, at the tip of the Malaysian peninsula.  Singapore's most spectacular scenery is of the massive skyscrapers which tower over the metropolis.  In this stunning video, AirVuz contributor Big Head Greg uses a DJI Phantom 4 drone to capture the essence of this amazing world-city, including shots of the skyline, the Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay Sands, and more sights from this remarkable city-state.

These aerial views from contributor Jonno Clarke are of the unmistakable skyline features found in Singapore, the city-state situated at the tip of the Malay Peninsula.  Using his DJI Mavic Pro, he was able to capture the broad view of the Asian city's futuristic panorama.  The main attractions like the Singapore Flyer ferris wheel, the Esplanade theaters, and the Marina Bay Sands that face waterfront really stand out due to their distinct architectural designs.

AirVuz contributor and pilot elluuna created this beautiful drone video of Singapore, the great city-state which is situated just off the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula.  The video opens with an epic nighttime shot of the three towers of Marina Bay Sands, the city's most recognizable landmark despite being less than a decade old as of 2019.  From there it's on to the skyscrapers of the financial district, the "supertrees" of the Gardens by the Bay, the Singapore Flyer ferris wheel, and more.

In just a few decades following its independence from the United Kingdom in 1959, Singapore became one of the richest countries in the world.  Perhaps the best physical evidence of this transformation is in the skyline of the city, which now rivals that of New York and Hong Kong.  Contributor Marcofan flew his DJI Mavic Pro drone over and around the city-state's downtown at night, treating us to a spectacular bird's eye view of one of the world's greatest cities. 

The Chinese Garden is a park in the Jurong East district of Singapore in Southeast Asia. Built in 1975, the Chinese Garden’s concept is based on Chinese gardening art. The main characteristic is the integration of splendid architectural features with the natural environment. To create this video, Contributor Jibo888 flew a DJI Mavic Pro drone over the garden, creating a memorable aerial view of this important Singapore landmark, which attracts millions of visitors each year. 

Completed in 2010, Singapore's Marina Bay Sands resort quickly became one of the skyline's most recognizable features.  The distinctive three towers under a common roof structure can be seen for miles from the city.  The resort includes a giant hotel, convention center, restaurants, and more.  Contributor Justjamesmedia used a DJI Mavic Pro Drone to create this amazing aerial view of Singapore's prominent landmark, one of the most expensive resorts ever built. 

Among the most recognizable landmarks in Singapore are the "supertrees" - giant tree-like structures at the Gardens by the Bay Nature Park in one of the central districts of the city.  The park, which built at a cost of over US$1 billion, is one of the biggest tourist attractions in this Southeast Asian city-state.  In this video, contributor jibo88 was able to film the supertrees when they were lit up to resemble light sabres during Star Wars Day in May, 2017.

The Marina Bay Sands is probably the most recognizable sight in Singapore.  Opened in 2010, the integrated casino resort may have been the most expensive ever built.  Its significance to the Singapore cityscape made it a natural shooting location for one of the most important scenes in the 2018 blockbuster film Crazy Rich Asians.  In this video, you'll get a bird's eye view of this resort with its famous artificial tree "forest" known as the Gardens by the Bay, courtesy of contributor Jeric Saniel.

While the city of Singapore is an island, as a country Singapore also includes several smaller nearby islands.  One of the most well known is Sentosa, which lies just off of the center of the city's south shore.  Once a British military base, Sentosa was opened for resort investment in the early 1970's, and it's emerged as a prime resort destination in Southeast Asia.  In this video by contributor jibo888, you'll get a bird's eye view of this island, which currently receives over 20 million visitors per year.  

Contributor and drone pilot Henry Andris created this phenomenal aerial tour of Singapore, the great city-state at the tip of the Malay Peninsula.  The video opens with some awesome footage of the Singapore Flyer Ferris Wheel, the Financial District, and the iconic lion statue in Merlion Park.  From there, you will be able to catch some epic views of the Marina Bay Sands, more shots of the waterfront, as well as one of the most impressive skylines in Asia.  

Contributor jeric saniel created this beautiful drone video of Singapore's Chinese Garden Pagoda, one of the top sights in this Southeast Asian city-state.  It's located in the Jurong East neighborhood of the city's West Region.  Opened in 1975, the centerpiece of the garden is the 7 story Buddhist pagoda.  Buddhism is the most common religion in Singapore; out of a population of about 5.6 million as of 2018, roughly one-third are practicing Buddhists.

The video opens with an epic shot of dozens of ships off the Singaporean coast, a reminder that this city-state sits astride some of the world's busiest shipping lanes.  From there you'll see some overhead shots of the "supertrees" in the Marina Bay Gardens complex.  Much of the rest of the video focuses on the city's skyscrapers and other impressive architecture.  The video was shot with a DJI Mavic Air drone.
