Hamburg is the second-largest city in Germany. It's located on the Elbe River in the northern part of the country. Home of the country's largest seaport (and the third-busiest in the European Union), Hamburg is often considered the commercial capital of Germany. Although much of the city was destroyed in a series of firebombing raids during World War II, the old city was meticulously restored, and it remains an important cultural center. Check out this collection of drone videos of Hamburg, once part of the powerful Hanseatic League of cities which dominated the commerce of northern Europe for centuries.
