Buenos Aires is the capital of Argentina. One of the most cosmopolitan of South America's cities, it sits on the south side of the Rio de la Plata, a giant estuary for several of the continent's most important rivers. Founded by the Spanish in the 16th century, the city is known for its magnificent public squares, beautiful churches, landmark government buildings, and ubiquitous cafes. It's also an important seaport, although its original harbor became obsolete with the advent of larger ships and was replaced in the 1920's. Here is a collection of drone videos from this magnificent city, one of the wealthieast in Latin America. Aerial photo: San Isidro Cathedral.
