Kairouan is one of the cultural gems of the North African country of Tunisia.  Seen in this drone video, it's the capital of the province of the same name in the northeastern part of the country.  Founded n the 7th century, it occupies an important position in the worldwide religion of Islam.  Kairouan has also made its way into popular culture via the movies: the city "played the role" of 1930's Cairo in the 1981 blockbuster Raiders of the Lost Ark, the inaugural film of the Indiana Jones series.

The Iguazu Falls, which straddle the border between Brazil and Argentina, is the world's largest waterfall.  It's also one of the most filmed.   It was the shooting location for a scene in the 1977 James Bond movie Moonraker, #12 in the series.  More recently, the Falls starred in Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull (2008) the fourth installment of the series. Contributor roadventures used a DJI Mavic Pro drone to create this beautiful aerial video of these ever-so-cinematic South American falls.

Yale University is one of the USA's most prestigious institutions of higher learning.  It's situated in the town of New Haven, Connecticut, roughly 130 km (about 80 miles) northeast of New York City.  Yale was founded in 1701, making it the third-oldest college in the country.  Contributor Manx.Cat created this excellent drone video of the Yale campus, which was seen by millions when it "stood in" for the fictional Marshall College in the 2008 blockbuster movie Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Contributor Katie.j11 created this awesome bird's eye look at the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railway in New Mexico.  The narrow-gauge historic railroad runs just over 100 km (around 60 mi.) between  Antonito, Colorado and Chama, New Mexico in the Southwestern USA.  Famously, the railroad was the filming location for a chase scene in the 1989 film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, the third installment of the Indiana Jones series which was a collaboration between Steven Spielberg and George Lucas.

Take a tour of beautiful Sri Lanka with this incredible drone video.  The areas featured in the video (in order of appearance) are Tangalle/Goyambokka, Jungle Beach (Unawatuna), Sigiriya, Ella, Kandy and Midigama.  Fans of the Indiana Jones movie series may find some of this territory looks familiar: Kandy was used as a primary filming location for the second installment of the series, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984).  The famous scene with the rope bridge was filmed near here.

Kalalea is a distinctive looking mountain on the Hawaiian island of Kauai, the westernmost and fourth-largest of the Hawaiian islands.  It's situated in the southeastern part of the island, near the town of Lihue. Famously, the mountain can be seen in the opening of the 1981 blockbuster movie Raiders of the Lost Ark, the first of the Indiana Jones series.  In the opening scene, the image of fictional "Paramount Mountain" fades to a shot of the very real Kalalea, whose profile is oddly similar.
