It's an area near a town called Şahinkaya, which is in the Düzköy district of Trabzon, a province that sits towards the eastern end of Turkey's long Black Sea coastline. The area here is covered by the Pontic Mountains, a chain which runs roughly parallel to the Black Sea coast (extending some ways southward) and which is home to some of the finest natural scenery in the country.
