Ölüdeniz lagoon and beach in the Southwest of Turkey.

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Check out this stunning drone video of Turkey's Ölüdeniz Lagoon, compliments of AirVuz contributor agrippa907th. It's located near the town of Fethiye in Muğla, the province which covers the southwestern "corner" of the country. The lagoon, which is known for its crystal-clear blue waters, is mostly surrounded by a national park. The video also features some great shots of the beach at the opening of the lagoon (which is connected here to the Aegean Sea); the beach was recently ranked #2 in a Travelzoo survey of the world's best beaches.

Video from a trip in March before the lockdown began. Probably also the first place I'll visit when things get back to normal, too. What I love about the south west of Turkey is the lush green mountains that drop into the sea and create hundreds upon hundreds of gorgeous little bays.
