Welcome to Karlovo, Bulgaria

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : AirVuz contributor Danovski Air brings us this excellent drone video from the historic city of Karlovo, Bulgaria. Karlovo is located on the River Stryama in the province of Plovdiv at the foot of the Balkan Mountains, near the center of the country. Famous for its rose oil (and surrounding rose fields), the town largely dates to the 15th century, during the early part of the Ottoman Empire reign over the region. The video includes some outstanding shots of the town itself as well as from the nearby mountains.

The video was filmed near the historic town of Karlovo (seen in the opening of the video), close to the geographic center of the Bulgaria. Karlovo is located at the foot of the Balkan Mountains, which run on a roughly east-west axis starting near Bulgaria's western border with Serbia and roughly bisect the country, extending to the Black Sea coast in the east.
