Iceland is an infant in geological terms, having arisen by the process of volcanic eruptions on the floor of the North Atlantic Ocean a mere 60 million years ago. Its newness is reflected in the unique landscapes of the island, which provide a visual experience unlike any other in the world. In mid-August 2022, Mathieu Rivrin proposed me to go to Iceland with the objective to film the volcano in eruption. I had just finished my BTS and I really wanted to discover new landscapes. But everything did not go as planned... The volcano died one week before our arrival. In spite of this annoyance at the beginning of the trip, I took a lot of pleasure in it! This trip will remain engraved.
