AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Top AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) pilot Scottyblue77 earned a spot on the FPV Pilots to Watch list in September 2024 with this fantastic mountain surfing video from the Alps Mountains. The video was filmed in Switzerland and Italy. Featured locations include the Sustenpass, which connects the Swiss cantons of Berne and Uri; the Furkapass, a bit to the south, which was a famous James Bond movie filming location; the Grimselpass; the Gavia Pass, in Italy's Lombardy region; and Switzerland's Nuefenpass.

This Nature and Adrenalin Rush FPV Trip with my Filmmaking Buddy was really intense, we sleeped in the car / Camper - had trouble during our Travel with one Car, Hicked a lot of Ridges and nice places. Recovered a fpv quad middle in the night over hrs to get it back :) Also lost on the most epic Spot the 7 inch long range quad 6km away, i took the wrong path back to my home point...

Locations are mainly - from Sustenpass along to the Furkapass / Grimselpass then go further down Bormio to Gaviapass Italy and the back to Gotthard and Nuefenpass. The Glacier is on the Sustenpass.

But at all it was a really challenging experience which we not want to miss, we learned a lot from our gear and Cams, exactly this is our main goal to become more one with all our possibilities to capture things!
