The Sky Hunter now has iNav 3.0.2 on the flight controller and the long range RC components upgraded to TBS Crossfire. Also, this is the first flight testing the 7 turn helical Video Rx antenna I just built. While it performed perfectly, I intended to test everything at a minimum of 5 miles. Weather derailed my plans as you see in the video :) At least I know Return to Home works well. Also notice the Crossfire transmit power only needed 100mW at 2.5 miles. - /// Equipment /// - Time Stamps: Departing - Entering reduced viz - Failsafe RTH initiated - Launch point arrival Land - --------- Sky Hunter - Full Size 1800mm w/ - - Rudder - - Flaperons - - 180° Pan / Tilt Camera Matek F722se Flight Controller - INav v3.0.2 HobbyKing 45A ESC Turnigy D3536/6 1250KV motor APC 9x6 pusher Propeller Tattu 5200mAh (x2 in parallel) Foxeer Razer 1200TVL flight camera - 2.1mm lens Video Tx: - RMRC 1.2 GHz 400mW - Diy Clover Leaf Antenna Video Rx: - Fatshark Dominator V3 downlink Record - - RMRC comtech video receiver - - - Diy 7-Turn RHCP Helical Antenna - - 7" ebay LCD screen for flight display RC Tx: - FrSky Taranis x9d+ - - Running OpenTx v2.3.14 - - w/ TBS Crossfire lrs | 915Mhz | 10mW - 2Watts | - - - Stock immortal T antenna RC Rx: - TBS Crossfire Nano Diversity - - Stock floppy dipole antennas #longrangefpv
