San miguel | Azores

Take a tour of the Portuguese island of São Miguel, compliments of Jumis Visuals.  São Miguel is the largest and most populous of the Azores, a chain of islands of the North Atlantic Ocean.  At the :25 mark, there's a nice shot of the small harbor town of Povoação, on the island's southeastern shoreline, and at the :55 mark you'll see the well-known Elephant Rock on the northern shore.  Other highlights include Lake Azul (at the 1:21 mark), the islet of Vila Franca do Campo (1:49), the capital city of Ponta Delgada (2:25), and more.
