Content creator and drone pilot rezarafizadeh created this beautiful reel from a year's worth of filming in the Iranian state of Gilan.  Gilan is one of the northernmost of Iran's 31 states.  It curves along the southwestern shoreline of the great Caspian Sea, relatively narrow at its northern end but widening out considerably as one moves south.  Largely covered in mountains, it receives copious amounts of rain and its forests are amongst the greenest landscapes in the entire Middle East.
