Arkov Grad or Markov Kule and Prilepski Grad is a medieval fortress above Prilep. It is located on a high stone elevation over today's settlement in the area that, because of its specificity, was declared the natural good of the Republic of Macedonia. During the Middle Ages he was one of the capitals of the Serbian Empire under Dusan (king 1331-1345, car 1345-1355), and then the state of the Serbian king Marko (1371-1395) from the Mrnjavčević dynasty. According to the name of this Serbian ruler, the fortress was given its national name. The fortress consisted of several bands of stone ramparts with towers, towers and towers. Today it is largely in ruins, but its former monumentality can still be perceived as being used for shooting some of the fighting scenes in the partisan film Kapetan Leš
