The actual climb is only about 20 minutes and with walking from the village you need about 1 to 1.5 hours. So if you don't have much time then you better skip Ella Rock and climb Little Adam’s Peak. If you don't feel like walking, you can do most of the hike by moped and only walk the last 20 minutes. The last part of the road is very bad but you save yourself an hour of walking.
