Ladakh is one of the northernmost regions of India. Part of the Himalayan Mountain system, it is largely a high plateau which sits at an altitude of about 10k ft. above sea level (a bit over 3k m) and is surrounded by peaks of up to 23k ft. abvoe sea level (around 7k m). With its epic scenery and wide-open spaces, it's become a popular spot for adventurous motorcycle riders, and more recently for talented first person view (FPV) drone pilots like AirVuz contributor quadkillerx.
