AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Scotland's Kilchurn Castle has a history inextricably tied to the Campbells, the famous Highland clan. Built in the 15th century by a branch of the family, it's situated on the shores of Loch Awe, in Argyll and Bute. The castle was substantially altered and enlarged in the early 17th century, and it later played an important role in the 18th century Jacobite Revolt before being damaged by lightning and falling into disuse. You can see the castle in this drone video by lee the flying scotsman.
