Iceland - Glacial Breeze
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Multiple Drone Vide of the Week Winner Jan Barančík - DronistaCZ
brings us this stunning drone video from Iceland. The video features a dramatic mix of shots (including dronelapse shots) of the diverse landscapes of Iceland, ranging from its mountainous highland interior to its famous black sand beaches, glaciers, waterfalls, and more. The video was filmed with a DJI Mavic 3 drone, which unfortunately ingested some of that black sand and was temporarily rendered inoperable before getting fixed and back into the air.

Glacier breath Iceland. The land of ice and fire... For many years it has been my wish to go to this landscape, as it is made for photography and video. Even more so if your passion is drones. This year it finally worked, when Jirka Baják, an experienced traveler not only in Iceland, stirred up this event. We packed two more turkeys and I set off for 5 days to discover the beauty of this Nordic island. The weather was extremely kind to us, so we could enjoy several beautiful sunrises and sunsets... and also, for example, a tour of a glacier cave. It would be all epic and goofy until one flight to Stokknes, when my recklessness sent a pile of black sand into my engines. Hymlhergot crucinal. The drone that I had for 3 months cost me almost 80,000 and now that he had his first trip abroad with me, it seemed that our flight together was over. However, lately I've been learning that all bad experiences are just necessary experiences in growth, so I kept calm and started to solve the situation constructively and look forward to a new priceless experience. And shit. After contacting my guru helper Tomáš Mertlík, I came up with the idea to go to the pump and blow sand on the tires with air. After a little McGajvr grab, we had the valve reducer removed and hooray for the engines to give a proper pumping blowjob. Within an hour of this "unfortunate" event, the drone was able to fly without any problems, and I gained a new experience that taking off and landing in the hand would probably be the best option in any situation. Heck, sometimes you have to go through a little pain. Where would we be if we screwed everything up, right? That's one incident from filming. Thanks to everyone who read this far. Up to Iceland ;)
