The village is located in one of the picturesque meanders of the Cherni Lom river, between the villages of Pepelina and Cherven. It is 30 km from Ruse. There is an asphalt road near the village, which is in decent condition. The "Tabachka" railway station is located at a distance of 7 km from the village. The village of Tabachka was founded by Balkan people who settled along the river at the end of the 18th century. It bears its name from the name of the huts Tabach kaya (Tabach stone), now Sechen kamak, Trevnensko, where its first settlers came from. One of the sights of the village is the "Vodna" cave, where prehistoric finds dating back to 4300 BC were discovered. It is assumed that the name of the village originates from a local craft called tabashki, which means processing raw hides.
