barracks

This site is a former military barracks originally built for the Wehrmacht in 1938. In 1945 it was taken over by the red army (GSSD) and was used as an army barracks until 1991 when the soviet army left East Germany after the fall of the wall. The larger building is newer and was probably built in the 50s or 60s. The smaller building is one of the last of the original buildings and is in the process of being torn down. Muisc by: J. S.
