Around the Island, Gran Canaria

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Former DVOW Winner Łukasz Jaros brings us this stunning drone travel video of Gran Canaria, one of Spain's Canary Islands. Created with aerial footage from a DJI Mavic 3 drone as well as ground camera footage, the video highlights the extremely diverse landscapes of Gran Canaria, which lies in the middle of the archipelago. Most of the footage highlights two of these landscapes: the Maspalomas sand dunes, which lie at Gran Canaria's southern tip, and the volcanic mountains which cover much of its northern ,western and central parts.

Since we saw Tenerife and Fuerteventura we decided to travel to every Canary Island. This time we thought about Lanzarote but at the end we traveled to Gran Canaria and it was great decision. Gran Canaria is sometimes called a "continent in miniature" due to the presence of several types of landscape and several climatic zones. We fell in love with dunes in Maspalomas on the south of the island, in the mountains on the north west. Every of Canary Islands has it own vibe but Gran Canaria has so many to offer.
