Follow us on Instagram VIDEO TRANSCRIPT: Allie Krings: Welcome to YourVuz, and our Home episode. Rusty Kath: Since it's our Home episode, we thought we'd shoot it at a place that I like to call home, my home. Allie Krings: Rusty, I'm flipping through this book of your renovation, and it's incredible. Wow! It's beautiful. Rusty Kath: Thanks a lot. We bought the house at a very low price. It needed a ton of work, but I [00:00:30] think in the end it really paid off. Allie Krings: No, really. This transformation is like nothing I've ever seen before. Rusty Kath: Yeah, it was a lot of late nights with a tool belt on, and a whole lot of work, but I'm really happy with the end product. So thanks. Allie Krings: Okay. Have you ever thought about hosting your own home improvement show? I mean, you're handy. You're obviously amazing on camera. You'd be perfect! Rusty Kath: Honestly, yeah. That is something that I've considered, and I would love to do that. That would be a dream job. I like to wear flannels and work boots as well. Allie Krings: No, that's one thing that I was going to say, is you're approachable, [00:01:00] but you're still ruggedly handsome. Rusty Kath: Oh, thanks a lot! Yeah. Some people might say that, I guess. Allie Krings: Wait, who wrote this script? Rusty Kath: Who wrote the script? Allie Krings: Yeah, who wrote this script? Rusty Kath: I don't know. I don't know. I think Don and Katie have somebody different write it each month. We'll just get into first set of- Allie Krings: Script writer: Rusty Kath. Rusty Kath: That could be anybody. It's a very common name. Allie Krings: Oh, is it really? Rusty Kath: Anyways, this is the part of the show we usually get into our first set of video- Allie Krings: "You make every DIY and HGTV host look like a hopeless amateur." Rusty Kath: This is [00:01:30] the point where we usually get into those first drone video submissions. Now, the theme, of course, was "Home," so- Allie Krings: "Now, talk about a guaranteed Emmy winner!" Rusty Kath: We asked you to show us what you consider home. Maybe it's your actual house, or a home away from home like a beach, or- Allie Krings: Wait, you wrote this one? "Women around the world would fawn at you. What a no-brainer to hire you!" Rusty Kath: ... maybe it was a sporting event that you submitted. Whatever it was, they were all wonderful, and let's go ahead and see some of those first submissions right now. Allie Krings: " [00:02:00] When God peered down on all of humanity, he obviously plucked you out as the most charming and able-bodied, to host a home improvement show that would forever change the world." Rusty Kath: I don't know who wrote that, but I think they really captured me. (singing) Allie Krings: Wow. [00:03:30] Now those were some incredible shots. Rusty Kath: Yeah, and you know what they say, "Home is where the heart is." Allie Krings: Ah, but actually, it's the chest cavity. Rusty Kath: What? Allie Krings: The heart is in the chest cavity. Rusty Kath: Where would [00:04:30] you consider "home," or a "home away from home?" Allie Krings: I'd go with the University of Minnesota. I spent quite a bit of my life there. I live still in Minneapolis, so ... What about you? Rusty Kath: For me, home is out on the water. Allie Krings: Oh, on someone's boat? Rusty Kath: My boat, actually. Allie Krings: Oh, you [00:05:00] have a boat? Rusty Kath: I have two boats. Allie Krings: You have two boats? Rusty Kath: I'm a big-time TV host. Yeah, I have two boats. Allie Krings: Okay. Can we go for a ride? Rusty Kath: Yeah! We can head down to the lake and take a spin. Allie Krings: Okay. Are you guys just going to watch us walk down? Rusty Kath: They could. They could do that. Or we could just roll the next set of videos, and while those are playing, you can I could walk down to the lake. Allie Krings: Okay. (singing) Rusty Kath: [00:06:00] Well, here she is. Allie Krings: [00:06:30] This is your boat? Rusty Kath: Yeah, maybe not quite what I made it out to be. My dad just gave it to me. He refurbished it with all sorts of stuff that he had laying around the house. Allie Krings: Oh, that was so sweet of him. Rusty Kath: Yeah! He actually even built some seats in the back for the kids. Allie Krings: Is that the top of an old bookshelf? Rusty Kath: I believe it is. Allie Krings: Oh, that was very resourceful. Rusty Kath: Yeah. Allie Krings: Wow! So how fast does it go? Rusty Kath: It's a paddle boat. You control how fast it goes. Allie Krings: What's your top speed? Rusty Kath: I've [00:07:00] never clocked it. Allie Krings: I bet I could get at least eight miles an hour. Rusty Kath: Maybe. Sure. Allie Krings: Okay. Well, can we go for a ride? Rusty Kath: Yeah, we can. We should probably set up our finalists, though, since we're still kind of hosting a show. Allie Krings: Oh, yeah! Our first finalist, AC Aerial Vision, Kellie's Castle. Rusty Kath: Next was a guy whose home is obviously the water, reggiesurfsax, as he checked out Diamond Head. Allie Krings: After watching this video from The Brothers M, you'll [00:07:30] want Romania to be your new home. Rusty Kath: And finally, Ultraprod, who's at home on a bike, here discovering Spain. Allie Krings: And the winner is: Kellie's Castle from AC Aerial Vision. Rusty Kath: The home has an incredible backstory, and AC Aerial Vision perfectly captured its beauty. You can check out the full video on AirVuz.com. Allie Krings: It's too bad that you didn't [00:08:00] get that $500. I mean, you could have put it towards a new boat. Rusty Kath: I think this one gets me around just fine. It's a great mode of transportation. Allie Krings: That's going to be our next topic. Transportation. All the different types that people use, whether it's a paddle boat, a bike, a scooter, a Segway. A plane, train, automobile. Even riding a horse. Rusty Kath: That could work, too. Get those videos uploaded at AirVuz.com, and use the keyword "YourVuz." Allie Krings: Get those videos in by June 23rd. Rusty Kath: Remember, we're always looking for unique [00:08:30] videos that tell a great story. Give your best chance to win $500. Allie Krings: So is this my workout for the day, or do I still have to exercise? Rusty Kath: Your legs are going to burn so bad, it's going to blow your mind.
