So, Rusty brought me to one of his favorite places, Baker Park. Rusty: I love this spot. Great place to just kinda, chill out, relax, become one with nature, do some hiking, they've got a golf course and later today, I'm gonna do a little fishing. Ally: Oh, do you think you'll [00:00:30] catch anything? Rusty: Hope so, be chasing the elusive Esox Lucius. Ally: What is that? Rusty: It's a scientific name for Northern Pike. Ally: Okay so, why didn't you just say Northern Pike? Rusty: Just trying to sound smart. Ally: You're gonna have to try a lot harder. Rusty: Thanks pal. Ally: But since Rusty and I obviously love being on the lake, why don't we start with some drone pilots whose favorite places are on the water. Rusty: [00:02:00] Alright, so, I took you to one of my favorite places, what are some of your favorite places? Ally: Well I love Jellystone in Warrens, Wisconsin. Rusty: Yogi Bear. Ally: Yogi Bear is right, but also just my parents home. Rusty: Mm, that's sweet. Hey what if instead of doing favorite places, we would have done least favorite places for an episode? Ally: Well, I think that would have been a terrible episode. Rusty: I know, right? Ally: What are some of your least favorite places? Rusty: Oh boy. [00:02:30] Oh right now, it's my ten months old bedroom in the middle of the night, 'cause if I'm in there, that means he's not sleeping and my night is gonna suck. Ally: Wow that sounds like compelling drone footage. Rusty: Just a tiny whoop, circling around us while my baby's screaming for an hour. People would want to watch that right? Ally: Yeah, no. So, here are some more of the favorite place you shared. [00:04:00] While many of you said your favorite places were off the beaten path, some of you said you were happiest in a city. What are you doing? Rusty: Getting on my accordion. Ally: Why do you have an accordion? Rusty: To help step up this next segment. Ally: Do you even know how to play the accordion? Rusty: I am just learning how to. Ally: Why are you learning to play the accordion? Rusty: Well, case things don't work out between my wife and I. Way to meet and impress women. Ally: [00:04:30] Dear lord, you need to hold onto that woman like grim death. Rusty: I kinda think she's the lucky one in the relationship. Ally: So, how are you planning and setting up for this segment with your accordion? Rusty: Okay so the first video comes from Helladron Media. Ally: Yeah, above the streets of Budapest. Rusty: Budapest! Big hit for George Ezra, so I figured I would get my inner George Ezra on. Ally: Please don't. Rusty: My house in Budapest. My hidden treasure chest. Ally: Please stop. Dear god, please stop. Rusty: Give me one good reason why I should never make a change. Alright, we've seen [00:06:00] some vids on the water, seen some cities and some landmarks. Ally: We've seen Rusty play an accordion. Rusty: I think that's gonna become a very popular feature on this show. Ally: No, it is not. Rusty: It's debatable. Ally: Not debatable. Rusty: Either way, right now, we're gonna move on up. Ally: That's right, our next videos take us to a higher elevation. Don't you dare. [00:07:30] You know, Rusty? These are some of the bests submissions we have ever received. Rusty: I totally agree, you could make an argument that almost any of the videos we saw, could be the winner. Ally: Unfortunately, only one can be our favorite. Rusty: 'Cause of favorite places, yeah, good one. Here are our finalists. Ally: [00:08:00] Up first, it's Ocean Dream from Shiny FPV. Rusty: Next, we take a trip to an ancient city with Omer Gokcen's trip to an ancient city. Ally: Our third finalist has us in the countryside with droneflybennie's shepard with his sheep's. Ally: Our show is all about showing a unique perspective from your view. And Shiny FPV certainly did that. Rusty: As he [00:09:00] describes it, my favorite place, is not an actual place. It is the day I find myself in the perfect place, the perfect dawn at sunrise. Dawn for me is the moment when perfection comes, it brings hope, it brings inspiration, it brings the possibilities that can be achieved by us all. It brings new places, new places to explore.
