Yangon, once known as Rangoon, is the largest city in Myanmar, once known as Burma.  Founded in the 11th century, the city was relatively unimportant until Great Britain colonized the region in the 19th century and made it the capital of British Burma.  The city is no longer the country's capital, which was moved to Naypyidaw.  In this video, content creator and pilot Alex Dyl gives us a bird's eye view of this Southeast Asian metropolis, which is home to approximately 8 million people as of 2018.
