Winter in Germany

Lake Walchen (Walchensee) is one of Germany's deepest and largest lakes by area.  Seen in this excellent drone video by AirVuz contributor and pilot Akos Kovacs, it's located in the Bavarian Alps, about an hour's drive south of Munich.  The lake covers a surface area of about 16 square km (around 6 square mi.), and its maximum depth is 192 meters (just over 630 ft.).  It's part of the Bad Toelz-Wolfratshausen District of Bavaria, Germany's southernmost state.  The video was shot during the winter months.
