The Ko'olau Mountains sit on the eastern side of Oahu, the most populous island of USA state of Hawaii and the home of Honolulu, the state's principal city. The highest peak in the mountains is about 1k meters (about 3k ft) above sea level, a figure more impressive when considering the very short distance from the peak to the Pacific shore. Contributor and pilot Hungaro used a drone to create this stunning aerial video of these spectacular mountains and the Pacific Coast against which they are set.

This short video is about my favorite mountains in Hawaii, called the Ko'olau Mountains. This is my playground, where I can just get away from it all, hike , climb, train, suffer.
