After I had seen the beautifully ruined Birnbeck Pier of Weston-super-Mare I knew I had to fly there and luckily I was able to squeeze it into my plans. Apparently it's the only pier that links the mainland to an island albeit a rather small one. It was built in 1867 and closed 1994. Until 2011 the lifeboat station was housed there. Wind was strong so the Mini struggled and the fpv had to tilt far to fly straight - more or less.Next stop is Cheddar Gorge - exactly the same: After seeing a video of it I knew I had to fly there. The Mini struggled mightily in the strong wind but the fpv worked just fine. Maximum depth of the gorge is 139 m.Sorry about the vibrations/jello.
