AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Contributor and drone pilot Eminorcks created this spectacular aerial video of one of the great fortresses of Europe. The Alhambra of Granada lies in the province of the same name, one of the eight which make up the Andalusia region of Southern Spain. It is the site of one of the more notable historical events of the second millennium AD: in 1492, Spain's King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella gave the Italian explorer Christopher Columbus the go-ahead for his first great voyage in which he "discovered" the New World.
