WAZARE INDIGENOUS VILLAGE - BRASIL

Aldeia Wazare dos Paresí-Haliti in Mato Grosso, which is part of the first indigenous tourism route in Mato Grosso called 'ROTA PARECIS'. The Parecis Route gives tourists the opportunity to immerse themselves in the indigenous culture, visiting and living with the Indians, getting to know their homes, eating meals and learning a little more about their beliefs and customs. Wazare is the youngest village in the municipality of Campo Novo do Parecis. One of the main activities of the village is the indigenous tourism, where the culture of the Paresí-Haliti is in every detail through the presentations of dances, songs, mythical histories, corporal paintings, traditional sports and commercialization of handicrafts, being that the way of life place is the main tourist attraction of the community. The place is perfect for exploring the Rio Verde with a boat ride and river bath.
