Volvo Ocean Race - Newport, R.I USCGC Eagle

This turned out to be the most ambitious venture I have taken when it comes to Drone photography and videography. Multiple security checkpoints, background checks and numerous people/ security saying It can’t be done and I’m not allowed....well ha! Nice having friends in high places...and maybe a few officers in the USCG. I am officially the only person ever allowed to legally use a drone at not only the Volvo race sailing event but also on Fort Adams property. Media from around the world watched in envy and jealousy as I filmed the Eagle. (Seriously multiple members of the media from different countries all came up to me while I was flying asking how the hell I managed to pull this off) Enjoy!
