Vessel, Hudson Yards

The Vessel is one of the artistic centerpieces of Hudson Yards, the gigantic urban redevelopment project on the West Side of Manhattan in New York City.  The giant honeycomb structure sits in the middle of the complex, which sits atop a (still- operational) train yard.  Part of the common area known as the Hudson Yards Public Square, the Vessel rises 16 stories and includes 154 flights of stairs.  The brainchild of famed British designer Thomas Heatherwick, you can check it out from above in this fantastic drone video by thedronalist.
