Varese is a small city and provincial capital in Italy's Lombardy region. It is situated at the base of Campo dei Fiori di Varese, one of Lombardy's smaller mountains, more or less between Lake Como and Lake Maggiore (the second and third largest lakes in the country, respectively). Frankiez caught this northern Italian jewel with a drone, bringing us these awesome bird's eye views of a town and its brilliant red roofs set in the verdant hills of Lombardy. Varese is considered part of Italy's famed Lakes District.
