Varanger, Norway - Caring people - Rural LIFE - RAW nature

This project for Visit Varanger included two by three weeks on location in 2018 and a three-week-journey of March 2019. Travelling around the area of Varanger, East Finnmark, Norway, a quite large area, close to the Russian and Finnish borders, documenting Varanger all year was an amazing treat. Flying drones in the area is quite complicated and we had limited permissions for flying in the National Park and other protected areas after applying to the official authorities. Also because of being close to the Russian border and military appearance made it difficult, but not impossible when we had the proper permissions. Most of the drone shots was filmed in 6K with the DJI Inspire 2 with X7-gimbal and the various lenses. In addition, the DJI Pantom 4 PRO+ was also used.
