VALLE DE LAS LEÑAS SKI RESORT | MENDOZA | ARGENTINA

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Check out this fantastic drone video of one of South America's largest ski resorts, compliments of AirVuz contributor and pilot Mike Ferrari. It's called Las Leñas, and it's located in the foothills of the Andes in the northwestern province of Mendoza. Opened in the 1980's and expanded several times in the intervening years, the resort has a base altitude of 2.24k meters above sea level (around 7.35k ft.) and has a total drop of 1.2k meters or around 3.9k ft. With 27 runs, the resort lets a skier run non-stop for 7 km (around 4 mi).
