The video was filmed over the republic of North Ossetia, one of the southernmost territories of the vast country. North Ossetia lies near the western end of the main range of the Caucasus Mountains, which divides Europe from Asia. The territory, which once stood astride the Silk Road, bears the imprint of the different civilizations which fought over the region for centuries.
