University of Minnesota Athletes Village construction

The University of Minnesota is currently construction a new Athletes Village on campus to take the Golden Gopher athletic program to the next level. AirVūz was invited by the school to capture drone footage of the progress.

As the aerial views show, the new football practice facility is starting to take shape. Other buildings being constructed by Minneapolis-based Mortenson Construction will include a new academic center, more indoor practice courts, a basketball development center, and much more.

The drone video also shows the University of Minnesota's proximity to downtown Minneapolis and the Mississippi River while highlighting some key areas of the East Bank of campus.
