Umpqua River, Oregon, October 2020 roadtrip before starting a new contract flying gig
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
AirVuz contributor HermosaDrones brings us this beautiful drone video from the Umpqua River in the USA's Pacific Northwest. The river runs a westerly course of about 180 km (around 110 mi.) through Oregon; its mouth is near Winchester Bay, about two-thirds of the way down the state's Pacific Ocean coastline. Draining a basin of about 12k square km (4.6k square mi.), the Umpqua is particularly well known for its bass and shad fishing. The valleys through which it flows is considered the heart of the timber industry in southern Oregon.

The Umpqua River corridor of Oregon blew me away. A camping roadtrip to the Oregon Coast has been on my bucket list for years and 2020 provided me the perfect chance to go before starting a new contract flying job. The coast, the people, the weather, all were more than I expected. I trust you will like this video view of this amazing river and region. I am soon to return.
