Top contributor Maurice Mbui continues his series of drone explorations of Kenya with this magnificent video of Turkana, the country's northeasternmost county. Kenya's second largest county, Turkana sits on the western side of the Great Rift, the ridge system which runs north-south through western Kenya. The video features outstanding aerial footage of rift formations, safari animals, and the massive Lake Turkana which forms the eastern border of the county and is the world's fourth largest salt lake.

This was a journey of may unknowns considering the remoteness of the region but what I found there were some of the most scenic landscapes in the East African region.
