Triton's Fountain is an important landmark in the city of Valletta, the capital of the island nation of Malta.  The fountain opened in 1959, a few years before Malta achieved its independence from the UK.  It's located near the City Gate, which has been reconstructed several times but which dates to the founding of the city by the Knights of St. John in the 16th century.  The fountain was used to film a scene in the apocalyptic blockbuster World War Z starring Brad Pitt, one of the highest-grossing films of 2013.
