AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Arcos de la Frontera is one of the cultural and historical treasures of the Andalusia region of southern Spain. It's located in the province of Cadiz, but well to its inland. It's a "white city" perched atop a hill overlooking the Guadalete River. The town was one of the more important in the region during the Moorish period, and after its conquest by King Alfonso X of Castile in the 13th century it became a bulwark of Christianity in southern Spain.
