Tony

In 2017-18, living in a camper van, I traveled solo across the United States. Working online part time afforded me enough for food and gas. This allowed me to improvise where each next day was going to take me. As the miles went by my heart felt humbled, and I developed a strong relationship with my beloved metallic companion, Tony. It took some time, but I found the courage to look over the endless videos from those slow months of wandering and condense them down to three minutes. It just made sense to make the video about Tony. I traveled far away to unlock the answers that were buried inside of me all along. Moments of perfect solitude alternated with spontaneous human encounters. Somehow, in the midst of it all I learned to make peace with myself and the world around me.
