Toledo Bend Reservoir
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
The Toledo Bend Reservoir is one of the largest artificial lakes in the southeastern quadrant of the USA. The reservoir lies on the Sabine River, on the boundary between the states of Texas and Louisiana. The project was undertaken in the 1960's as a joint effort between the two states, and was undertaken in the first instance to control flooding in the region. Covering 185k acres (about 75k hectares), the lake is 105 km long (about 65 mi.) and it has a shoreline of over 2k km (around 1.25k mi.).

This was such a fun location, so many textures in the water ways with so many different colors. The reservoir is pretty big, and I took 2 days to travel around finding locations to film. Filming water reservoirs and lakes is something I love to showcase.
