Check out this drone video of the largest power plant in the Baltic republic of Lithuania, compliments of AirVuz contributor and pilot Arturas Orlauskas. The Elektrėnai Power Plant is located in its namesake town, about 50 km (30 mi.) west of the Lithuanian capital city Vilnius. Capable of burning natural gas, heating oil, and bitumen the plant was built in stages during the 1960's and early 70's. Cooled by water from the Strėva River, it has a nameplate capacity of about 1.8GW.

The Elektrėnai Power Plant is an 1,800-MW electrical generating station near Elektrėnai, Lithuania, about 50 kilometres (31 mi) west of Lithuania's capital, Vilnius and about 50 kilometres east of second bigest Lithuania's city Kaunas. Three chimneys of this power plant is 250 m high and one is 150 m.
