"The West Side" by Art Beat

Published on Jan 10, 2016 by Art Klep (YouTube) The west side is a song about getting out of Willemstad and driving to Bandabou. Westpunt (aka: the west side) is at the top of Curacao on the undeveloped side of the island. In the clip the band is driving towards the Knip (Kenepa) plantation. We play in the park at the entrance to Playa Piscador and on the pier at Playa Grandi. Playa Forti is visible in the background as is the church at Westpoint. Last shots were taken at Playa Kalki (the most western beach on Curacao). Many thanks to Kura Hulanda Lodges for letting us shoot at the beach bar and on the traces of their lovely resort.
