The Tahoe Dam is Flowing!
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Situated on the California/Nevada border, Lake Tahoe drains into the Truckee River, which in turn feeds into Pyramid Lake to the north. The Tahoe Dam was constructed in the early 20th century at the river's starting point on the northwestern side of the lake as a means to control Tahoe's water level, which would otherwise fluctuate dramatically. Responsible in no small part for turning the lake into a major recreational area, you can see the Tahoe Dam from above in this drone video by Aerial Flight Productions.

A video that shows the contrast between 2015/16 draught in Lake Tahoe to one season where we had over 60 feet of snow drop filling the lake and the Truckee river back up!
